Our new primary care clinic at the southwest corner
of west Broadway and Fairview Road houses General Internal Medicine
physicians. The internal
medicine physician practice at Fairview is structured like that
of a private practice physician or group practice to ensure patients
have ready access to their personal physician.
Every effort
is made to schedule preventive and non-urgent care visits in
a timely fashion with a patient's primary care physician.
A patient's
primary care physician usually will be available to treat urgent
or acute illness, or illnesses that require fast but not emergency
treatment such as high fever, severe vomiting, sprains or other
intense pain.
Care at the
Fairview clinic is provided by board-certified internal medicine
physicians, also called internists, as well as licensed resident
physicians. |
